About BibleDo Daily Verse
BibleDo Daily Verse puts one verse in front of you each day, in the places you already look: your lock screen, a website you visit, your feed reader.
Who makes it
It is made by BibleDo, which sets Scripture to music word for word, across many styles. Our heart is to connect people to God through His word.
Scripture sources
World English Bible
The text shown by default, in the updated edition (ebible.org, engwebu), the same wording as the BibleDo Reader. Public domain. "World English Bible" is a trademark of eBible.org, used here in attribution only.
Berean Standard Bible (BSB)
Dedicated to the public domain by its publisher (bereanbible.com) in 2023.
King James Version (KJV)
The 1769 text, offered when you choose it.
Every verse is pulled from those published texts by a script, never typed by hand. The only changes: a quotation mark that opens or closes in a neighboring verse is left off, and a verse that begins mid sentence starts with a capital letter. Verses are chosen to make sense on their own.
How the day is chosen
Each calendar date has its own verse, the same every year, and it turns over at your midnight, not ours. Seven tracks share that calendar: Everyday, Kids, Bedtime, Men, Caregivers, Hope, Proverbs.
